I would like to say how pleased we are with the care our mother is receiving at Homestead Village. It was a decision that was very difficult to make. We were impressed with the facility and all the personnel that greeted us. I am able to rest at night knowing that she is being well taken care of in a safe, loving environment where it feels like one big family.

When I became partially disabled and could not live on my own, I searched for a place where I could get the help I need day to day and keep my dog Waldo. In my search I found Homestead Village and it was the best move I could have made. The men and ladies that care for me are always there to help. The dining is great with good staff - it is like eating in a restaurant. My laundry is done weekly and I always have clean clothes. Also, the housekeeping staff is very good at helping keep my room clean and tidy. I really could not have found a better place for the price.

My mother moved to Homestead Village over three years ago due to declining health and mobility. Since moving in her health has improved, she has gained weight, and seems to be enjoying life. The staff is kind and caring and really treats my mom more like a close friend or relative. The staff engages residents in conversation and in the activities, especially Beverly's exercise/dance class which is enjoyed and participated in by most residents. Management is available to address concerns and always helpful. I feel lucky to have found a place that is absolutely unlike what many would think of when thinking of assisted living or nursing homes.
